Biography
This Classical Guitatarist from London is one of the most dynamic and exciting classical guitarists of her generation and is available for concerts, weddings and functions. She gave her Purcell Room debut in the prestigious Park Lane Group Young Concert Artists Series in January 2001 and was invited to tour with Music Theatre Wales and play at Bath International Guitar Festival as a result. In 2001 she was also chosen as the best guitarist in the Performing Australian Music Competition. Her wide repertoire includes music from all over the world by composers such as Bach, Villa-Lobos, Rodrigo and Albeniz.
She has played for top clients in the world of corporate entertainment including BP, Viscount Linley and GlaxoSmithKline. She plays regularly in a flute and guitar duo with flautist Catherine. They play classical and light classical music from around the world, including Tango music from Argentina, popular music from Brazil, Baroque, Classical and Romantic music from Europe and much, much more. A beautiful combination of instruments, this duo is ideal for all kinds of special occasions. Requests for specific styles or pieces are considered and programmes tailor-made to suit your event. They have played at weddings, flower festivals, charity concerts, corporate receptions and even a bat mitzvah.
She generally plays acoustically, but can amplify if requested.
