Biography
He is a classical and jazz guitarist with 8 years experience playing solo guitar for weddings, corporate events, restaurants etc.. He is based in Staffordshire and began studying the guitar at aged 8 and received grade 8 with distinction in 1997. Following this, he undertook a degree course in music and technology at Kingston University, graduating with BMus(Hons) in 2000.
Whilst at University, he was part of a guitar and sax duo that held a residency performing at a local restaurant in Kingston. Also a talented drummer, he featured in countless ensembles both academically and professionally during his time at university.
Since finishing University, he has made a living as a solo guitarist at weddings and corporate events, and as a guitar and drum teacher. Over the years he has built up an extensive repertoire that includes a wide range of classical guitar pieces from the Baroque period right through to modern day. To compliment this, he also has an extensive repertoire of jazz guitar arrangements and improvisations. Depending on what the client requests, he can perform sets of just classical or jazz guitar, or a mixture of the two.
He is very able to adapt to whatever the client requires. Whether it be to give the room a subtle ambience, keep guests entertained, or to play for the bride to walk down the aisle.
