He has recently come to live in the UK from Cartagena, Spain. He is known for giving concerts in which the repertoire is the same as you expect to hear from such maestros as Paco Peña at venues like Sadler's Wells or the Wigmore Hall.
He plays traditional flamenco guitar focussing on the beauty of sound together with an earthy and powerful almost "throaty" tone. In flamenco circles this is known as "muy flamenco" or very flamenco.
His repertoire is very extensive and includes pieces such as the magnificent Zapateado en Re by Sabicas or the despairing and powerful Rondeña by Ramón Montoya or the superb Alegrías de Córdoba by Paco Peña.
