Biography
This Kent based Jazz guitar duo are available for weddings and functions in the South East of England.
One of the guitarists has been playing jazz, blues and many other styles of guitar for over thirty years. Twenty odd years ago he emigrated to the USA where after attending music college he forged a successful career fronting his own contemporary jazz and funk band, playing original material and as a well respected guitarist in several other bands. More recently in the USA his music has been tagged as "smooth jazz with an edge."
The other guitarist was a leading member of one of the South East's few successful jazz fusion bands, Interface, in the late 1970's and early 1980's and was considered something of a child prodigy in his youth. Since then he has toured in Europe, the Middle East and Australia and also had a successful career as a live and recording sound engineer.
They perform a wide selection of material ranging from much loved jazz standards like Autumn Leaves and The Girl From Ipanema to jazzy funky interpretations of Stevie Wonder tunes and even the odd "Nylon" Jimi Hendrix number. The accent being on fine playing with verve and feeling!
