Biography
This duo have began working together in 2005 . Following very positive feedback from audiences they recorded their first CD "I can't help it". Released in 2006 the CD includes a wide variety of tunes, which reflects their repertoire.
From jazz to popular and bossa nova to original, including, Horace Silver’s “Song for my Father”, the classic “Nature Boy” a beautiful ballad arrangement of Bob Marley’s “Is this Love”, Antonio Carlos Jobim’s classic bossa nova “Desafinado” and the very popular “Everything but the Girls”.
Missing to the Lenny Kravitz’s “It ain't over till it's over” and a very up-tempo finale of “Mas que Nada”.
They have played in many prestigious venues from the Dean St and Maidstone Pizza Express music rooms to the Medway Jazz Festival, including a week long residency (by request) at one of the top hotels in Cape Town South Africa. The CD has received many great reviews from Michael Parkinson to The Independent and Jazzwise magazine.
