One guitarist took up guitar at the age of twelve and was completely self taught until entering music college in 1981. He graduated from the City of Leeds College of Music in 1984. The other player learnt the guitar near her family home in Bromley Kent with Norman Vaux. She was a member of the Bromley Guitar Quartet with Norman, but since 1989 has concentrated on her duet partnership playing in a variety of venues and on a number of different types of occasions. They started life together as duet partners but things sort of developed and they eventually married in 1989.
