Biography
Born in Durban, South Africa, this Sussex based Jazz guitarist has been a professional musician since leaving art school in London in 1975. He has worked mainly on the corporate circuit, but often surfaces to solo and guest at concerts and festivals in the UK and abroad.
He has performed with many gyspy jazz-style players, including Johnny van Derrick, Nigel Kennedy, Mike Piggott, Diz Disley and Fapy Lafertin, but also plays more mainstream-style electric guitar.
He has recorded and toured with Bryan Ferry on the "As Time Goes By" album of 1930s/40s standards in 1999/2000, Clare Teal, Gary Potter, and bassist Peter Ind, with whom he has recorded two albums - "Back to Back" and "You And The Night And The Music".
He can be booked solo, duo or any standard jazz combination (double bass, vocals, sax etc)
