This classical guitarist is based in Essex and is available for weddings, concerts and functions in Essex, London and the home counties, but is willing to travel further afield.
She has an honours degree in music, a performer’s diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, London and a teaching diploma from Trinity College of Music. Began giving recitals at age of 17 with fellow guitarist David Cottam, followed by solo concerts throughout UK and the Far East. Recording of duets with David, and later a solo CD with another in progress. Taught for some years at Colchester Institute School of Music and as consultant to Anglia Ruskin University as well as in Junior Music Schools and privately.
This guitarist has played at 100s of events and venues including solo and orchestral concerts, weddings, all kinds of ceremonies, dinner parties, live radio, corporate events and garden parties. Venues have included theatres and concert halls, churches and synagogues, restaurants, hotels and country houses, private homes and gardens, guitar and music societies, schools, universities, clubs and conference centres.
Repertoire is varied; from Classical Elegance, Sparkling Spanish and Flamenco sounds, Latin Rhythms to warm Romantic Sounds and Popular Tunes. Any special favourite required for your ceremony can always be accommodated.
This guitarist also has the option of a battery amplifier which is very useful for outdoor bookings.
